2023 Michael David Symphony

These estate grown grapes are some of the first plantings of its varietal in the state. Symphony was developed by Dr. Harold Olmo of UC Davis in the 1940s, who crossed a Muscat de Alexandria with a Grenache Gris and came up with this new grape. Thus, Symphony is a true variety of California. Fun fact- Symphony is fermented each vintage in the very first wine tank that Mike Phillips ever owned!

Tasting Notes
A warm weather favorite, this wine opens with a bright bouquet of ripe pineapple, juicy white peach and jasmine. Mouthwatering flavors of Granny Smith apple, apricot and honey dance on the tongue, leaving a clean, balanced finish. Sweet but not cloying, Symphony is the perfect wine for spicy Asian-inspired dishes, creamy cheeses and good company!
