2020 Michael David Symphony

These estate grown grapes are some of the first plantings of its varietal in the state. Symphony was developed by Dr. Harold Olmo of UC Davis in the 1940s, who crossed a Muscat de Alexandria with a Grenache Gris and came up with this new grape. Thus, Symphony is a true variety of California. Fun fact- Symphony is fermented each vintage in the very first wine tank that Mike Phillips ever owned!

Tasting Notes
A summertime favorite, Michael David Symphony opens with a bright bouquet of honeydew melon, nectarine and fresh honeycomb. Tantalizing flavors of yellow peach, pineapple and citrus dance on the tongue, carried through by a long, fruitful finish. Symphony is the perfect wine for spicy Asian-inspired dishes, creamy cheeses and warm, summer nights.
