One of the states original Zinfandel hot spots, Dry Creek Valley is the home to our newest indulgent offering, Rage. The grapes for this unique wine come from a head pruned vineyard planted in the 1960s, located on the southern edge of Dry Creek. With it’s rocky red soils and hillside slope, the vineyard produces a nice peppery-edged Zin befitting of the Rage name!
There’s nothing to be angry about here…Hailing from Dry Creek valley, Rage offers up all the bright red fruit and spice characters Zin lovers rejoice in! A saturated ruby red color in the glass, the ’17 vintage oozes ripe strawberry, red licorice, caramel and dark chocolate aromas. This medium bodied wine displays bright red fruits with flavors of raspberry, cranberry and cherry. Light pepper, spice and hazelnut notes add depth and complexity while soft tannins lend to the wine’s delicate, refined finish.
